Coraline (The sequel)

Coraline was filmed here in Portland, OR. They rented out the building next to my aunts so we ended up hearing a lot about their production. Anyways, my friend just helped move one of the producers who claims they are in the works for a Coraline sequel. But he refused to let out any more details =/

Either way, Im excited, I thought it was a wonderful move. What do you think?

  • Very intresting. I will have to keep my ears open. Both of my kids LOVE Coraline. Even my 5 year old. I think it is a smart story. It proves you dont have to dumb cartoons down for kids.

  • I'm not sure what the storyline would be for a sequel, but I would watch it.

  • Thats what I've been wondering. It seems like they wrapped the storyline up pretty tightly to have a sequel. Unless of course they replay the storey out with different characters..but that seems kind of redundant. It would make sense to have a prequel to Coraline though. Maybe show the storyline of Wybe's Grandma's Sister and how she ended up being trapped by The Other Mother.
