  • I go out with just my friends about once a month, and get together with them and their kids probably once a week, sometimes more.

  • About 4 hours a week...sometimes less, sometimes more.

It's hardest to make/find time for friends who are not parents, their lifestyles are so different...

  • None.... well, no that's not true...one of my best friends works at the grocery store so I do get to see and chat with her when I'm in there. And my neighbor who has become one of my very best friends I talk to at the fence almost daily. We are fence chatters even though we share a gate!

  • What friends? All of my old friends want to do nothing but party and that's not me. I need to make some mommy friends.

  • What friends? I now live 8 hours away from any of the friends I had. I am 21 and got pregnant with my daughter at 18. I lost contact with a few of my friends before I had my DD, but after I had her and got married, I lost all of them except for a few. Now that I live 8 hours away from my hometown, I've lost contact with all of them. I talk to them every now and then on Facebook, but I don't consider that a friendship. I've tried making new friends, but I honestly don't have the motivation and tolerance to put up with another friend that wants to betray me. It's hard to find someone that I click with, especially someone who already has kids and doesn't act like their kids shit don't stink! lol. So all I have is my family, mostly my husband and our daughter and I'm totally happy with that.
