So.. I went to work today and found messages on MY phone between my SO & my Best Friend.... adult content

He messaged her saying things like "my boyfriend is a cheating bastard"..& " I need a rebound".. just to see what she would say I suppose.. Like seeing if you should would talk me into doing something or if she thought I would cheat on my own.. Well she said ALL the right things (she's the best best friend ever)..

More details--He may be going to jail tomorrow.. so he's a little worried something will happen while hes gone..

What would you think or do?

  • I think I would possibly just leave it alone. If he wasn't doing anything other than worrying that you might forget about him while he is gone or might leave him... then I would sadly kind of find it to be sweet! (Yes I am an oddball!)

  • Oh, I see. Well, trust is not something easily earned, especially if you have given him reasons in the past.

  • He may be going to jail tomorrow--he trusts me but hes afraid my best friend or someone else is going to talk me into cheating on him while hes gone. So he kind of set her up.

  • I have given him somewhat of a reason at the beginning of the relationship not to trust.. But it was at the beginning.. so he is just worried..

  • He made a mistake and he is paying for it.. That doesn't cancel out all the good times we have had together or the love that I feel..
