Are there any good generic diapers left?

I used to use white cloud and I loved them but they stopped maling them. So I switched to up and up by Target and I loved them. But they changed them plus I found out that a size 5 up and up is a 4 huggies so you get less per box. So I switched to Parent's Choice which I didn't love but they worked. But they "improved" them and now they suck. The tabs don't stick and they get really hard once he pees even once. And if he gets sweaty on his back they get slimy.

  • Walgreen's diapers are great! They're pretty much almost like pampers, imo.

  • The Cottontails at Giant are decent but they are cut small. Like you I went through the White Cloud, Target, Parent's Choice cycle too. My DD is potty trained and only needs a pull up at night time

  • hmmm, i actually like the new parents choice ones so far. Maybe try your local grocery store and see how their store brand is.

  • What are Wegmans? Never heard of them?

  • I think it depends on your child (and what is available of course). We couldn't use "generic" because our baby had sensitive skin and would get a rash. So we stuck with Pampers or Huggies. Sorry I'm not too helpful but I think you're gonna have to experiment to get a true answer. =)

  • Don't honestly know what to tell you. We used and LOVED Parents Choice. And when we didn't have the time to go all the way to WalMart we just used the Family Dollar brand, which were good too. White Cloud on the other hand sucked for us... They were just horrid... All I can say is keep looking and trying.

  • Kroger's Comforts are really Huggies with different pictures if you have one of their chains near you.
There's a list of all the store chains they own on their website - if you don't have an actual Kroger, you probably have one of the other chains they own:
