  • I used Dreft with both my daughters..but with this baby, I will just use Purex.. I heard they don't need baby detergent.

  • I used Dreft until my DD was about 6 months and quit because it just go way too expensive. I just started using Purex "Pure" scent.

  • It wasn't a waste for me. I have REALLY sensitive skin and so does my son. My husband once did a load for me to help out and used the regular stuff on his and he broke out! It was the Free & Clear too. I use Dreft the first 6 months.

  • I used Dreft also...because they have sensitive skin...but it is soo expensive so i just started washing her clothes in the same detergent and she was i would just make sure you baby isnt going to break out or anything..just wash a outfit in the detergent you use and if the baby is fine..dont waste your money..goodluck

  • BIG waste of money. I just kept using the same regular detergent I always used.

  • I used Dreft the first few months because i usually got some as a gift at baby shower or somethin. AFter i ran out though i just switched to regular detergent and if they had no problems then stayed with that. I always washed all the bedding, recieving blankets, new baby clothes, etc in Dreft or another baby detergent before using em though. ALL baby works good too and is less expensive. Thankfully none of my kids were allergic to anything in reg detergent.

  • unless your child has extremely sensitive skin or some skin condition, it's a huge waste...all free n clear has always been fine for my whole family

  • I use 7th generation delicate scent/dye free for all our laundr including cloth diapers. I use less than the reccomended amount and boost with washing soda.
