  • At 2 we switched straight from the crib to a twin/full bed with a rail

  • We didn't. We stitched straight to twin or full beds at the age of 2 with all 4 of my children.

  • Never used a toddler bed. We went right to a twin bed. The older was about 2 1/2, the younger when he started climbing out of the crib at under two years.

  • We'll be switching my baby girl soon, she's 19months.

  • No, not too early. Why would she need a toddler bed? What concerns you about the twin bed? If it's the height, put the mattress / boxsprings on the floor. That's what we did when mine switched at 20 months.
