  • I was just saying that exact same thing...must be because celebrities have money and power. Same reason they serve little to NO freaking jail time for their crimes that you or I would serve years for. Messed up system!

  • not all are fast a lot of them i have read where they just fight and fight over their stuff and who gets what but he cheated so that was an easy divorce they also have the money for the best lawyers were poor people dont get that luxury

  • 1. They have money.
    2. They probably use lawyers specifically work with celebrities and not the general public.
    3. If you don't fight it doesn't need to take a lot of time.

  • Both of mine were over and done in 2 weeks.

Honestly, they have been in the works for months (Tiger and Elan). So while they were telling us they were working it out, I'm sure the proceedings were already going on.

  • Because the lawyer wants there money and know they will get it.

Answer by mamaofficer at 5:16 PM on Aug. 25, 2010

  • Because they have lots of money to hire attorneys that fight over everything for them.

  • I am sure that it has a lot to do with money as well as pre-nups. With things set beforehand it helps to expedite the process.
