What can I make for my son?

Here lately I have been making a few things for my neice such as a tutu, hairbows, etc-all little girl things. While I was making a hairbow, my son came up to me and asked me why I didn't make him things like that. I told him that only little girls wear hairbows and tutus but I would find a project to work on just for him. Any ideas on what I can make my 5, almost 6 year old boy?

  • I did a bulletin board for both my kids to match their rooms. I covered a bulletin board in scrapbook paper in a grid pattern (two rows of four). My sons is varying shades of blue and brown, stripes, dots and star patterns along with some solids. You can even get some coordinating chipboard lettering to put his name across the top or in the lower right hand corner. You can make some "frames" out of coordinating cardstock for his photos and even print some cute sayings off the computer in different fonts. He can display photos of friends and family or his artwork on the board.

  • I love all of these ideas.
In the past I have made Capes for my Son, decorated a hat for him to wear outside, made posters for his room, made a bulletin board for his room with Monster Trucks, Cars and Sports (all of the things he loves), I made him a fake license and different certificates saying he was a (cop, monster truck driver, etc).
