Is green garlic bad for you?

For the past several months, a majority if not all of the fresh garlic is half green. Each clove is half green, even though there is no green growing, I don't see any until I peel it. Is the green bad? I always cut it all off, thus loosing half or more of each clove which is really annoying.

  • Great, we love garlic. But we don't want it MILDER! Ugg. Thanks. At least it's not gonna give us belly aches. Thanks!
