Making fried potatoes:Do you prefer to fry yours in oil or butter?

  • Canola oil when golden brown I add eggs, salt, pepper and whatever veggies u want to add maybe a slice of cheese then place into a tortilla (mmm good breakfast tacos) of course I have to cut the potato in small squares. sorry I got carried away the question just reminded me of this...lol

  • butter. the seasonings get cooked in a little better than if i use oil.

  • I actually use a little olive oil with seasoning salt and black pepper when I fry, which is a rarity. I usually put my cut up potatoes in plastic tupperware, add a little olive oil, shake and then bake on a cookie sheet in the oven.
