  • It's $200 a week for 1 - so that comes out to $40/day in VA suburbs of DC - I supply diapers and wipes and those supplies - I supplied food and formula for his first year, but now she provides the food.

  • I pay $5 a day for my son's after school care. If he has a day off from school but I have to work or have classes that day, then I have to pay $25 a day at a local daycare.

  • I pay $30 a day for my 1 year old who stays with a close friend.

My 11 year old goes to an After School care program at the local Goddard School. I pay about $21 a day for before and after school care. It's expensive, but he has autism and it is worth it for that socialization and care he receives.

  • Depends on the age of the child

    1 child under 12 months- 2.05/hr
    1 child 12 mo- 24 mo.- 1.95/hr
    1 child 24 mo- pre kindergarten- 1.85/hr
School Age child 5.50 per day for before and or after school

If I have them there more than 25 hours a week, then the second child gets a 25 cent/hr discount

  • When Victoria was in daycare all day, every day, it depended on her age and what class. When she was in the 1 1/2-3 year old room, we paid 25 bucks, because she was not potty trained. As soon as she transfered to the 3-4 year old room, the price went down to about $20 a day since she was potty trained
