WHat do you use to mop with

If you're out of mopping stuff? I ran out and my floor is sticky. What can I use to clean it with? It's white ceramic tile floors. I have no bleach in the house either.

  • I only have apple cider vinegar in the house. I don't have any clorox wipes either. Will dish soap make the floors slick or sticky?

  • yeah i think dish soap would be sticky... hmmm... is the whole floor sticky or just in spots... could use windex or something on the sticky spots

  • Dish soap would be sticky. I use a steam mop, so there's no soap and no residue. Before I had that though, I'd take to the floor with a scrub brush, some Chlorox spray and have at it. Then, I'd wipe the whole thing down with water. Luckily, it wasn't a big floor. Since I got my steam mop though, no more hands-and-knees scrubbing for me.
