Do you have a "friend" like this?

When we were in our early 20's,My friends Dawn,Ed,David, and I were as thick as thieves! Ed and David joined a new church that told them that A. being friends with females was wrong,B. anyone who wasn't of their neo-Christian faith was not to be trusted. They both slowly backed away from our friendship and eventually disappeared from our lives. This broke our hearts. All we wanted was our roller skating and movies buddies back!
I've since found them on Facebook. David is my FB friend, but he won't friend Dawn. Ed won't friend either of us. Both Dawn and I are upstanding women with husband's. We have never done anything besides not believe like they do. We had no problem with their faith. We just wanted to hang out!

  • Religion does weird things to people. I am not saying all religious people are weird, but I am saying that sometimes people take it too far and sometimes their religion takes things too far.
It is really crappy, but there is not much to do about it. He is the one missing out!
