How did you know you were in real labor?

  • I went from nothing to contractions 2 minutes apart in less than an hour, so there were no waiting and guessing games for me. It felt like Braxton-Hicks contractions, but much more intense, and very regular.

  • my water broke and i couldn't stop laughing cause my husband gave me a look when i told him then the pain hit after a few mins and he knew i was serious

  • I was having mild cramping and was unsure if it was real labor or not. then when i realized the cramping was coming in waves i started timing it. the thing for me that made me realize i was in serious labor is that my back started hurting along with the cramping. then it would stop, and a few min. later it would return.
