What are some cool name alternatives to "grandma"?

I have many years to go before becoming a grandma, but am trying to secretly steal a name now so that I have it ready! I don't want to sound old or old-fashioned. Give me some good names!

  • Grams is my favorite. I think it's really cute. Or you could look into other languages for yourself, like Oma is grandma in German =). GL!

  • My mom didn't want to be called grandma, at 39 she thought it sounded too old for her lol so DS calls her Dema. Her name is Deanna so I guess she thought it fit lol. My friends little girl calls her god grandma GG, I think thats really cute and young sounding.
