does ur milk supply go down if u dont pump for 3 days back to back?

  • Definitely. Milk is all supply and demand. Especially if you didn't get to a high production level to start with. Probably need to pump inbetween feedings and call a lactation consultant. Even if you skip one or two feedings it will go down. Your baby tells your breast how much to make but you have to build up a supply little by little. Don't expect to skip 3 days and have as much milk.

  • yes it will go down but if you are feeding your baby on demand, you shouldn't have to worry. if baby is having bottles, though, you definitely need to pump :D
