Would you sacrifice a loved one if you thought God told you to?

Like in a dream or you thought you heard him speak to you somehow?

If yes, then...whoa... a bit too dedicated there

  • i don't know if anyone who answered is a believer but if you were a true believer and you said no then i want to know why? If you truly believed why wouldnt you do ANYTHING that god asked you to do. That just tells me that faith isnt fully there.

  • Nope... Not one bit. If I dreamed about "God" & He'd told me to hurt a loved one, Id be asking some questions.. & Chalk it up to a nightmare.

  • I have asked this before. And all you're going to get are "Crazy people do that" and "God wouldn't do that" apparently this is a question no one can answer honestly...

For me, if God told me to kill my kids - I would go talk to his wife! But no, I don't see me killing my kids because some unseen force decides he needs to get his jollies today.

  • To quote a comedian "If God came through with a directive like that, I believe I'd have to ask for some ID." No I wouldn't is my answer.
