Have you ever gone on an "eating binge?"

Seems results from eating binge can last years (excerpts from the Los Angeles Times).
Overeating for just four weeks can cause changes in body fat composition that last for years, Swedish researchers have noted. The study serves as a warning that even brief periods of increased food consumption - the first few weeks of college dorm life, a 3-week cruise with all you can eat buffets, the string of holiday parties - should be avoided.

  • the 2-5 days before my period are crazy..... my body binges because I'll be going on 5 days of only 700 calories a day or so. I instinctively gorge on carbs, salt, fat..... a gallon of whole milk in 1 sitting, etc.
