  • We don't do schedules, just basic routines that work themselves out on their own. Last year during the school year it was up at 6:45am, older kids leave for school at 7:35am, snack at 9am for my 4yo, lunch at 11am, pick up the kids at 2:20pm and then homework/snack at 2:30pm, dinner around 5pm and bedtime at 7pm. On certain days my 4yo (then 3) had school and some of the kids had classes at our park after school on certain days.
That is as scheduled as we get. On weekends and during the summer the only thing we keep up with is lunch and dinner time. Everything else is dependent on what we are doing that day.

  • It's not Super Nanny style, but wake-up is around 7, breakfast/dress/etc til 8, school drop-off around 8:15, lunch around 12 for the ones not in school or on non-school days, snack time at 3:30, homework for those who have it, supper around 6, baths and bedtime to follow unless there's something going on that night (school program or family stuff on the weekends).
