When do you start buying winter clothes for your kids?

  • I buy them as soon as they go on sale/clearance at the end of each season. So for example, around jan/feb when everything was going on sale, I bought all my kids "winter" clothes for this coming winter. I get stuff for way cheap and it's new!

  • As she needs them. We're in Michigan, so we're often using winter clothing early in the fall.

  • as they need it or if I see a great deal in summer I will buy a size larger. It can backfire One year I bought all this snow gear really cheap and then we had mild winters for the next 2 years . The one year I didn't buy anything and we had a freak blizzard and stores were running out of winter stuff.
