WHAT WAYS DO YOU CUT THE FAT OUT OF YOUR DAILY COOKING OR DIETS??

  • Bake instead of fry is a big one, and I prefer to cook from scratch when I can. Cutting out all fat isn't healthy though. Switching to healthy oils like olive oil is a good step.

  • You need to look at what it is you are eating. If you cook from scratch you can easily reduce the amounts of oil and fat. If you are eating processed foods, cook from scratch. Olive oil is a good low temperature oil and butter is better for higher temps. Stay away from artificial fats such as margarine and hydrogenated ANYTHING! It's worse for you than smoking.

  • Fat is VERY important to your health, particularly your brain. So instead of cutting out all fats, try just eating healthy fats like avacado, cocconut oil, nuts, check for mono and poly unsaturated fats. These are healthy fats. Stay away from saturated fats as much as possible.
