ectopic pregnancy surgery and missed period

I had surgery to remove an ectopic pregnancy in June, had a normal period in July, and now I'm 2 weeks late in August. I'm wondering if its related to the ectopic surgery. My tube was saved so i'm confused! Any thoughts?

  • A surgery like that can mess with your cycle. I had my appendix out and a second open abdominal surgery a few days later and I was screwed up big time for about a year afterwards. I did ask my surgeon and he said messing in that area can really affect your cycle.

  • If you had sex you could be pregnant again. I suppose it could be related to the surgery, but I have no experience with the procedure.

  • Not pregnant... well, at least 2 tests were negative and I have no preggo symptoms.
