not sure if I want to do this or not?

I'm looking into putting a chair into my master bedroom. However, my husband found a recliner. I don't think recliners belong in a bedroom. Do you? What type of chair would you put in a master bedroom?

  • In my bedroom is a computer chair (until the kids move out and I can make a bedroom a study) and a rocking chair....NO recliner....not in a bedroom.

  • We wouldn't. Our bedroom is for dressing, sleeping, and mommy-daddy fun time :-)
But if you want one and would use it, go with something comfy. If you won't use it go with pretty.

  • I love that chaise!
We have 2 recliners in our bedroom...but then again we have a sitting area. I personally think a chaise or bench in front of the bed are best.

  • I would have a reading chair. A straight back chair.
Not a chase, that goes in a study or sun room.
A recliner belongs in a family room.

  • No recliners, I agree they are not made for the bedroom. We have an antique wing-back chair in our master bedroom.

  • I have a funky little accent chair in my bedroom. It has a rounded back to it, and goes perfectly in the corner. It's a great spot for reading. It is quite a bit smaller than a recliner. I personally would not put a recliner in the bedroom.
