Why does my cat insist in sitting on ME?

I love my cat. He loves me. He loves me more than my husband (more than the cat loves my husband NOT more than my husband loves me). He love me more than my son (see prior parenthetical remark and extrapolate). He insists that, even though there are other perfectly available and willing laps, he MUST sit on me. Why is that?

  • It's a good thing! Cats have been known to detect illnesses in their loved ones, just as dogs have. Keep him around :P

  • i don't mean to worry you, but are you stressed out? this is a true story, my mom's cat saved her life lots of times. a cat can sence when your heart is in trouble. they can actully stop a heart attack. my mom is living proof of that.
