What are some basic foods every house should have?

Im in a new house and need to build up a basic food stock, as well as special items I will need for dinners/breakfasts. Our selection at the food store is kind of limited. I have peanut butter, jam, soy sauce, mustard, mayo, salt and pepper. What else?

  • Can veggies, canned soups, pasta of severa types/shapes. Canned tomatoes and paste, Flour, baking soda, baking powder, canned milk, coffee, sugar, peanut butter, jelly, mayo, mirical whip, mustard, ketchup, vinegar, salt, pepper, garlic powder, italian seasoning, lowry's seasoning, canned potatoes, parsley, rosemary, thyme, cinnamon, hot sauce, soy or worshtishire sauce, A1 sauce. All of these you can buy dried or canned and last a long time in the pantry. They will do in a pinch for making a quick pot of stew or soup or a meat loaf or whatever in a hurry.

  • Salt, Pepper, Ketchup, Mustard, Mayo, Crackers, Flour, Corn Meal, Vegetable Oil, Milk, Eggs, Pasta of some type, Spaghetti Sauce, and some different kinds of meat to just keep on hand. I would suggest ground beef, boneless skinless chicken, and a pork roast.
