Gluecose test - are you allowed to pee after drinking the stuff?

Or do you have to hold it for the whole hour?

I can't remember and I'm getting stressed I'll have to pee and not be allowed to. hahahaha

  • I think you have to hold it, I know it sucks haveing to go pee when your pregnant and are not able to!!!! I get ready to kill someone just to make it to the bathroom!!!!

  • i cant remember if they let u pee, but they explain it all when they give u the drink and u can ask. i'm pretty sure u can pee and drink water but not eat... i went to the doctor for my regular visit during the hour i was waiting so it went by really fast if u can schedule it that way

  • doctor wouldn't let me drink water....I would think that would dilute the glucose levels in your blood.....who knows? but, yes, you are allowed to go to the restroom!

  • I wasn't allowed to drink anything after I drank the glucose solution -- but they did let me pee. HOORAY! haha
