  • It's refered to as a tubal pregnancy. They remove the section of tube where the fetus is. You can still have children.

  • Its a tubal (or ectopic) pregnancy. They don't remove the section of tube where the fetus is (like the previous poster stated they do). They just remove the fetus from the tube via laparoscopic surgery. Or if your lucky and its early enough they may just give you doses of methotrexate. But if you catch it too late your tube can rupture which would cause severe bleeding, pain, and the loss of your tube. As for future pregnancies yes you can still have children. Ive had a tubal pregnancy 3 years ago and I now have two healthy children. But they say that having a ectopic pregnancy increases your chances for having another by 15%

  • Both answers are right. It depends on your OB and how they deal with the situation. You might loose one of your fallopian tubes but luckily you have 2 so you should still be able to get pregnant even with only one left.

    Good Luck momma!
