1 Bump

she's teething so she's not eating much

what did you do for your kids when they were going through this? She's been skinny from birth, so not eating isn't helping.

  • i froze home made yogurt pops because he would eat them and they are healthy. If you buy the 2 lb tubs of yogurt and flavor them your self you can make them very cheap

  • Is she fevorish too, or just sore gums? I like wildwiccan83's idea. My kids never had an appetite problem! I would think any cold stuff like applesauce, or babyfood jars in the fridge would feel good to her & still be nutritious. Good luck.

  • Teething tablets worked for us. We kept her hydrated and she eventually started eating again when she felt better.

  • Frozen pureed food is good for the added nutrients but you want to make sure that a big piece doesn't come off in their mouth (choking hazard). If it's gotten to the point where baby is NOT getting the needed nutients you might want to try baby origel so that there is enough pain relief so that baby CAN eat.

  • give her what she will eat... if it's soft stuff, hard stuff, or somewhere in between. my girls would go from only banana textures to wanting only crackers... what i could get them to eat, i gave them as much as they wanted... it won't last long so having a "less than desierable" diet for a few days won't be bad...
