Christmas Ideas

fpr a boy who likes little things like bottle caps, beads and army men...He likes to sort things and make up games with them...
He has a lot of Star Wars toy he plays with and video games but I want to get him something else. He plays with those little toys at the baby sitter house. I already got him some army men for Christmas... Any ideas of some sorting type toys for a 6 year old.

  • The teacher supply store (lakeshore learning) here has "collage" buttons that are big buttons that come in different shapes and colors. I use them to have my son sort while I'm reading to him.

There's also something I just learned about called "pattern blocks" that could be sorted I think, and could be used to create designs.

  • I'll probably be getting my 4yo(he'll be 5yo by Christmas) some legos, books, puzzles and a bean bag chair. Maybe a ds game too, who knows. I"m sure he'll be adding to his list again lol. ;)
