First night of no bottle at bed .... poor guy, poor me and poor daddy LOL

Our 2 year old had it taken today, yes it's old for a bottle at bedtime still. But when you have an 11 month old also, it's a battle we weren't winning a year ago. Anyways, he had them "thrown away" today and night time was only an hour of crying, yelling, screaming, fading into wimpering and whining. Not to forget there is no door on his room, just a gate, which he plowed through at one point, so I had to go up and put him back in bed, prolonging the whole episode. I hope in a week he is adjusted. The baby has been doing well transitioning to the Nuke nipple like top of his cup. Tonight he drank all 8 oz and went right to sleep. Ahhh parenthood, love it LOL

  • We know 2 yrs was too long also, but you do what you have to do as a household to get sleep and rest......and when the hubby is gone for weeks and months at a time, it was just what I did.
