  • Well, my first step is getting in the car, the second step is buying them at the store. I love Archway's soft sugar cookies and I can't seem to reproduce them in my kitchen!

  • I have a pretty good recipe, but you have to refrigerate the dough overnight. Message me and I'll give it to you.

  • This is our Favorite by Far..
    Delicious Sugar Cookies
Beat Together until light and fluffy
    1 cup shortening
    2 cups sugar
    2 eggs
1 cup sour cream 1 tsp. vanilla
    Measure and sift together
5 cups flour 1 tsp salt
    1 tsp baking soda
Add the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients stirring well
Chill dough for several hours in a covered bowl in the refrigerator.
Roll out a small amount at a time on a lightly floured board( actually I throw a lot of flour down on the counter) this mixture can be wet so I add more flour as I am kneading it to hold it together better
cut with cookie cutters and put onto baking sheets at oven temp of 350 for 10 minutes or there about you have to watch them as they will burn on the bottom if you roll them too thin.
We like these very plain but the directions say you can frost them and add sprinkles whatever.
We also like to add food coloring to the batches to make them multi
