  • My twins were each 22 months and my third one was 19 months.

  • They were both 22 months. We switched them each to a twin bed, no rails and we've never had a problem. Neither one of them have ever fallen out of the bed. They are 5 and 7 now.

  • 21 months and that was only cause she tried to climb out of the crib.

  • My first climbed out at 18 months and hit his head... I switched him that same week. Then he was in a twin at 2yrs. Our second is currently 19 months and was in a toddler bed at 16 months because I noticed him getting his foot up on the top rail. I wanted to switch before he started climbing out. Then switched him to a twin bed about 2 weeks ago because the toddler bed wasn't comfy with his normal night time moving. (his crib was the same way) That just happened to be the soonest I could get a good twin bed or it would have been sooner.

  • My son was a little before 2.5. I waited until I saw that he was ready to get up by himself. He wanted to climb in and out by himself but couldn't because of the high sides. That is when we converted his crib to a toddler bed.
