If God is a male, and he made human beings in his image, then why do women give birth? Why doesnt the 66 bks in the bible talk about Jesus and his S/O or children? Why did God have to have a son and not a daughter? Why not both? Why no Female Goddess?Answer Question

and when the Bible talks about making man in His image, it is referring to the three parts of God and man. God is three parts; The Father, The Son, and The Holy Spirit. Those three are one. Man has three parts as well; the body, the soul and the spirit. That is what it is referring to when it says that we are made in His image. I also agree with Kword. Women were created to be the help meet for the man. And the couple is given the command to go forth and multiply replenishing the earth. We know there are no female goddesses because the Bible tells us there is only ONE God. It always refers to God as being a HE, and a Father. Never a she, or a mother.
