  • There are a lot of pregnancy old wives tales that I see here on CM. I can't believe people still believe some of this stuff. Like finding out the baby's gender with a ring and a piece of string.

  • Real myths I think are funny well superstitions. I do not believe that calling others beliefs myths is respectful or I would have said the bible. I myself believe in Persephone and believe the REAL STORY!!!

    I was SOOOO NOT trying to offensive...I really wanted to have people post different stories so I could maybe learn about one I hadn't heard before. I love mythology I'm sorry if the question offended you

  • It didn't so much offend me so much as honestly the bible comment did. Even though I am not Christian I do not say my mother's beliefs are a myth/ I thank you though very much for your apology I truly am grateful there are still people in this world that will understand that even though it doesn't offend you it offends others and it is only right to say sorry. By the way which story of Persephone do you know?
