What does it mean to be Pagan?

I know there is probably not one simple answer (maybe there is). I can google it, but I'd rather hear from actual pagans. Thanks =)

  • It means you practice a religion that isn't Christian, Muslim or Jewish. For some it's more specific, meaning a polytheistic earth religion, but it's also pantheistic reconstructionists, those who practice shamanism and Native American faiths, and depending how it's used, it will even lump in Buddhists, Taoists and Hindus.
