  • They are VERY similar to Baptist religion. We believe that Jesus is Gods son. He was sent to die on the cross to cover our sins to allow us into Heaven. That is the basic principal behind both Christian religions.

    There are smaller less important differences. One being Baptism. Baptists dunk the whole body. Methodists sprinkle. :)

    Those things are not that important. Belief in Jesus is the main idea :)

  • MY inlaw is methodist and I have no idea what she believes. She just tells me my church is wrong all the time...
    But she also said that then don't believe that virgin mary was the mother of jesus. that is all I got from she spew of hate towards other religions

  • In Methods... j/k I never understood all the slight differences in the Chirtian cults. If your have to split it up that much it mnust not be that cut and dry of a belief system
