What's the best way to freeze grapes...

as a snack for kids? I've heard of this being done but wasn't sure what the correct method was. Just toss the bag in the freezer?

  • It was a daunting task, but I would always peel them first. I don't see anything wrong with just rinsing them, drying them off and throwing them in a freezer bag though.

  • putting them flat on some wax paper and a cookie sheet makes them easy to separate; other than that there's really nothing special you have to do. Toss them in the freezer and pull them out as the kids want them :)

  • I stem them, rinse well, and lay out on paper towels to dry. Then I put parchment paper on a baking sheet with sides and put in the freezer. After they're solid I dump them into a Ziploc freezer bag.

  • Rinse and then let dry. Put them in a freezer bag and in the freezer. My kids love them even as teenagers they still love getting into the freezer and grabbing a handful of frozen grapes!
