  • Hell No. Media is a money making business.... they are going to say whatever is going to get you to keep watching.

  • I often listen to BBC radio. We in the US really know very little as to whats going on outside of our boarders. BBC is truly world news which also included US news. Our news is too sensationalized and important newsworthy events are falling by the wayside and not being reported.

  • Nope, I worked for a newspaper for three years and even though we were small I still learned a lot. You would be surprised what the media holds back, gives little details on and sugar coats.

  • Not really. They add to it to get reaction and ratings.

  • No.

Answer by tinamatt at 7:32 PM on Aug. 28, 2010

  • No and I haven't for many years. It's all Pop Culture anymore and not about the real story in the manner it happened. It's told to sell and not told to inform.
