  • No age guideline, just when they stink!

  • Kids, especially girls, develop at different rates, so really it's more of a judgement call. It can't hurt for them to wear a deodorant from about 7, especially if you get one for sensitive skin.

  • My sister and I were both around 7 or 8 when we started wearing it. Try the teen stuff (can't remember the name, it's Teen Something). It smells good and didn't break my sister out like my mom's adult stuff did.

  • Teen Spirit? Yeah, my daughter started using it at 7, too, before the armpit hair. Is it me, or are they starting a bit early?

  • When my older daughter was 6, she would get this vague onion-like smell in her armpits on warm days. I don't think anyone else could smell it, but it bothered her, so I bought her some deodorant and she's been using it ever since. My younger daughter--who is now 7--has still never needed to use it. So it's just a case-by-case basis; if your daughter is starting to have body odor, then go ahead and get her some deodorant :)

  • I dont know about my kids yet, but my Grandma always said u don't neeed it untill u start to have an odor cuz some people dont need it untill adulthood if ever! so I didnt use it or need it untill my last pregnancy. She said once u start using it is when u need it!
