  • hairballs? Try putting vaseline on his/her paws. They lick it off and it helps aid digestion

  • no, it's not normal. you should try switching food. my cat can't eat can food and does good on only dry food for 'mature' (aka old) cats. it is also hairball care so that helped too.

  • Try brushing her, giving her a different brand of cat food, the vet...something.

  • Is it undigested food, foaming vomitm or hairballs? if its undigested food, it usually means that they are not tolerating their food well OR they are not taking in enough water. Cats can be really finicky about their water. Mine prefer to drink from glass bowls and will slack off drinking if their bowl is not washed every 3 days or so. If its foamy vomit, theres a sign that there's a health problem. Often kidneys. Usualy their kidneys don't just stop working but slowing work less and less over time. In which case it become SOOOO imporant to get their water intake up as high as possible (even try putting icecubes in their glass water bowl to encourage them to drink more) and change to a urinary care cat food. If that doesn't improve it, go to vet to get additional help. They can give special food to break up kidney stones/gravel wihch will extend your kitty's life dramtically.

  • While that could be normal for your cat and maybe all it is is hairballs but typically it is not normal for a cat to throw up every day. I would take him to the vet to be checked out

  • I should add Oscar was on deaths door step twice with kidney issues (once @ age 8 and once @ age 12), but at this moment is jumping around actiling like a 13 yr old kitten.

  • It can be:
Call the vet and rule out other problems
DO NOT use vaseline, it's artificial and petroleum-based, give your cat a tiny dish (a teaspoon is plently) of olive oil, and if she won't drink it, dab some on her paws or nose.
Try hairball formula food, and make sure she's well hydrated.

Curious how you get your cat shaved, spammyann? how cop-operative is kitty? our's is pretty shorthaired, but curious : )
