  • well I think your paying her for a service, you wouldn't buy your dry cleaner, mechanic, or the person ringing you up at the store a present. may be a card if you feel the need to give something.

  • YES FOR CHRISTMAS WHEN THEY WENT TO A HOME BASED ONE. I WOULD GIVE A CARE PACKAGE.. OF THINGS THEY COULD USE LIKE CHILDREN'S BOOKS, PUZZLES, HAND SOAPS, LOTIONS.. PRACTICAL WHEN I BUY..

WHEN THEY WERE CENTER I WOULD BUY A RUBBERMAID BOX THING AND FILL IT WITH PAINTS, CRAYONS, MARKERS.

  • THREE WEEKS?! AND SHE TELLS YOU IT IS HER BIRTHDAY. MY SONS HAVE GONE TO AT LEAST 5 HOME DAYCARES. I NEVER KNEW ANY OF THERE BIRTHDAYS. HER TELLING YOU SEEMS ODD, ALMOST LIKE SHE IS TELLING YOU FOR A GIFT. I WOULD GET HER NOTHING FOR THAT, CHRISTMAS IS THE ONLY GIFT TIME FOR US.

  • For Christmas, I did cards and care packages with baked breads and canned goods that I made when my son was in daycare. We never even knew her birthday. For the babysitter we go through now, we do gifts for her and her family, but they were friends of ours first. She and my husband have known each other for close to 12 years. Since before any of us had children. So that is a bit different.
