Brown blood in early pregnancy?

Is this normal??? Is it ok, do I need to go to the doctor?? Sorry this is my first and I'm scared.

  • Brown Blood is old blood and likely not a problem. It does not hurt to speak to your care provider about it though. Keep an eye on it. If at any time it turns red, call your care provider immediately!
    Brown blood is also typical and many women have it. It could be from a small irritation of the cervix (sex) or from a small blood clot in the uterus that is breaking up (normal) or many other reasons.

  • It's called old blood and you shouldn't be alarmed. It's pretty common. If it's a bright red, then call your doc, but brown-don't worry.

  • Brown blood is really nothing to be concerned about.Just like Roadfamily said,it's old blood.But I would mention it to your Dr.
