Can get some menu ideas?

I need to start cooking more for my family instead of everyone grabbing a TV dinner at dinnertime. Not to mention the cost of eating all packaged food all the time! What can I make?

  • Fish Sticks
Spaghetti (Just pick up some noodles and a jar of spaghetti sauce and you're good)
    Sloppy joes
Tuna Casserole (Google it. There are many recipe ideas.)
    Hot Dogs
    Mac and cheese
BBQ Chicken (baked in the oven)
Boil some eggs and make egg salad sandwhiches (if the eggs aren't poisonous)
PIck up a frozen lasagna and stick that in the oven.
Make chili. I know a good recipe but I have to have my hubby post it cause he makes it not me.
I have a taco soup recipe that is easy and so so good on rainy days!

I could go on and on.

  • roast a chicken, roast two and pull off the extra meat for tacos the next night, or chicken salads, etc.
    steamed veggies
salad (cut the veggie up first and let them soak in the dressing while you make the other stuff, at the leafy greens just before serving)
steak~pepper after cooking for better favor~pepper can burn...
I like pork...usually slow roast a piece and do a pull pork sandwich with a coleslaw salad

  • Hamburger helper is good.
Manwich or other stuff for different types of sandwiches
Baked potatoes with different toppings or different types of salads
Cooking on the grill can open a variety of things to cook also. Sometimes I cook different types of meats at the same time.
Pork chops but my kids don't like to eat them with the bone so I cut the centers out instead of cooking the whole thing.
    Barbecue pork
Homemade mac and cheese with some cheddar cheese, multi grain pasta and sausage. Good for leftovers too.
Sometimes I cook up different meats to use for different things like bacon and hamburger.
