  • Actually since I don't disagree with the candidate, I guess I will continue to shop there.

  • Ok, who do I disagree with more? Walmart, with their unsafe and unethical business practices, that are consistent on a day to day basis and they refuse to change, or target, on this one indiscretion that they apologized for.

Because I have to shop at one of them. I think Walmart is much worse.

  • I knw that Target headquarters here in the Twin Cities contributed to an organization that 'sponsors' a Republican candidate who seems to be anti-everything including gay marriage. I know this. I dislike the candidtae intensely. But he has a right to his opinions as do we.
BUT, Boycotting will not do any good. It just might put some people out of work, good .people who need the work and people who do not necessarily agree with Target's contribution. A Boycott is never the way to go. Iwill not be voting for the Republican.
The VOTE works much better than the boycott.

  • Mmmm, I'm not into boycotts myself. There are companies that I prefer not to patronize, but all in all, if I need something and one of those businesses has what I need, I will give them the business.

  • What is fair to some isn't to others. The ability for my brother to be refused work unless he joins a union isn't fair. He has the training and is being begged to join so he can work. He doesn't want to become "union property". He needs work but can't unless he joins the union which controls the CSX railroad. This union gives heavily to democrats. It isn't fair. Different cause - same result.
