What are you doing for Grandparent's day?

I just realized that it is only 2 weeks away, and we have not planned anything yet. My MIL and I are also not getting along right now, but I know that my son loves his grandmother but I really don't want to go out of my way to do something for her. I will probably have my son make her something but not sure what. Any ideas? What are you doing for grandparent's day?

  • We're doing the same thing we always do - nothing at all, including even being aware of the holiday. We honor grandmothers on Mother's Day, etc etc.

  • hadn't planned on anything, as we'll be visiting them Labor Day weekend..we'll just celebrate being together..that's all that is necessary.

  • Going to my grand daughters school and reading to her class. Then going to my Grandsons class for 'game time"

  • Don't even know when it is and probably nothing

  • I'll already be with my in-law that weekend anyway, so probably a hike. My parents want to take our daughter to the zoo, just them, so they are going next weekend.

  • We never do anything. Honestly I didn't know there was a grandparents day... We aren't big on holidays of any kind, but Halmark Holidays least of all! Plus the only grandparents left are JWs and would be very upset if we wanted to do anything because it goes against their beliefs.
