  • What's her favorite thing, book, show?
For my birthday last year, my husband and MIL worked together to make me a strawberry flavored cake, layered with marshmallow creme filling, shaped like Homer Simpson's head. They then got some fondant stuff and colored it and designed his head. Too cute.
For my husband's, my MIL and I shaped it like a video game controller. Complete with buttons and all. We used white mix and colored it black since it's his favorite color.
There are also recipes online of cakes that are made like candy bars. I've seen Snickers, Milky Way, Twix, and have eaten one made to be like an Almond Joy. Just google them. They're pretty easy to make.

  • Well, what flavors does she like?

I have had a great time with just ordering a Baskin Robbins ice cream cake. Endless varieties, and cute styles. Plus, they're super affordable. GL!

  • If she can't decide, make what YOU like. That's what I do with my son, if you can't tell me what you want then I get to decide.
