Are any of ya following a diet or healthy lifestyle?
If so what plan?
What are the food you eat or the website you follow?
The reason I ask is because I follow self.com; just curious on what else is out there.
I really want to follow a real stick diet to lose weight for my Birthday on 9/24/10.
I'm going to drink lot's of smoothies with fresh fruits and water. (I really would like to lose weight). So any help I can get well be appreciated.
Weight loss goal is 10lbs

  • I have done a ton of reading and research. No diet website or diet program. I am eating healthy food that I cook at home--baking or broiling,no frying. Veggies with no sauces,. Salmon,other fish and chicken. Old fashioned oatmeal for breakfast, bananas,V-8 Juice (low sodium) and I take Fish Oil capsules, calcium,magnesium and vitanmin D, a Mulit B vitamin and 500 MG of C every day. I walk at least a half hour everyday and try to get 8 hours of sleep every night,.
    That's about it!
    I have lost about 11 pounds since May.

  • I'm a Phitter (phitter.com)...I eat green soup, eat as organic as I can afford, sweat everyday (treadmill), stretch and stretch (better than sex somedays), drink female toner tea, take green tea tablets, kelp tabs. Stop eating by 6pm and go to bed as early as I can~

  • I don't diet, but I follow a generally healthy lifestyle. I eat whole foods. I cook my food from ingredients like fresh veggies, grain, etc, rather than using a lot of processed or pre-made meals. We don't eat white carbs, but whole grains. I limit my animal proteins as well, but eat fish at least once a week. My husband and I are both pretty thin and active, yet a few years back he got some high blood levels with indicated he might develop diabetes so we altered our diet then. Then my son had a cow milk protein allergy and again I become more aware of the ingredients in my food. I don't buy anything with corn syrup, we VERY rarely have any kind of soda and baked goods are more of a monthly treat. I don't think having a lot of fruit smoothies is not going to help you. Fruit has a lot of sugar. I would look into juicing veggies, eating raw veggies/grains for snacks, making yours meals completely from scratch, and being active.
