My little boy just started saying mom-mom. =O

How old were your kids when they said their first word and what was it?
My oldest was seven months and said Dada, he had said what sounded like mama, but it was only when he would cry so I figured it was coincidence. And my second little man is eight months, he has been saying the mama while crying just like brother, but now he comes after me saying mom-mom haha its so cute! I'm so excited! He also says ba-ba but I think its just a sound for now lol.

  • its was about a year that she really started to really identify. its so cute when they can really say the word and understand it and know what it is. its amazing how they change so much in such a short period of time.

  • My son was 10 months whaen he finally said mama. (He said Dada at 5 months) He is almost 2years old and I still LOVE hearing it! It is soooo amazing to hear his little vioce saying "mama!" "mama!" or when he is mad at me he says :Ma!!" "Ma!!" Lol He reminds me of Stewie Griffin sometimes saying mama over and over again! :) So sweet!!

  • Her first word was "no" when she was 4 months. I was saying "say mama" and after a few tries, she giggled, and said "no". A few minutes later she said "mama". It was a great day! It's so wonderful to watch them learn new things. My girl is 5 1/2 now and talks my ear off on a daily basis :-)
