  • Are your breasts hard and painful as well? If so, you might have a breast infection.

  • The only time I had a fever while BF was when I got a blocked duct that caused an infection. It was very, very painful.

  • Not unless you are sick and would otherwise have a fever any way or have gotten some mastitis or a blocked duct or something like that. I would call your doc and discuss all other symptoms like pain in your breasts or congestion etc.

  • Only if you get mastitis, please make sure to see a doctor if you run a fever and have a harder red spot on your breasts
