Is spicy food bad for the baby?

  • Oh, when I was pregnant everything needed to be dipped in buffalo sauce. I was good until month 8....then came the heartburn. If you can handle the heartburn, go for it. Keep some Tums on the nighstand. And you should already be needing to sleep on your left side because of being pregnant, and this will also help with the heartburn because it keeps some sort of flappy thing at the top of your stomach open which helps with the acid coming back up........or at least that's what my mom always told me. Haha.

  • As in directly feeding it to them or via breast milk?
    Directly feeding - don't until they are well over a year old because they need to learn to eat without seasoning to actually taste the food.
    Breast Milk - it can make it taste funny.
